Sahib

The tailor

Some clothes cover you. The right clothes reveal you.

Sahib is a personal tailor with roots in Thailand and India — two traditions where tailoring is still a craft, not a transaction. He brings that same care to private fittings at your home, office or hotel, guiding every client through measurements, fabric and cut so each garment is built around the person who will wear it.

Every appointment is built around understanding how the garment should look, feel and move — fit, posture, proportion, the occasion you have in mind, and the kind of room you want to walk into.

“A garment should not fight your body. It should follow it.”

What Sahib makes

Tailored for the rooms you walk into.

Each garment is measured around you and built for a specific occasion, season or way of moving.

How it works

A quiet, personal process.

No store visits, no rushed measurements. Four steps, built around your time and your wardrobe.

  1. 01

    Book your appointment

Message Sahib and choose a time and place that works for you — home, office or hotel.

  2. 02

    Measurements & guidance

Sahib takes your measurements and discusses the occasion, fit preferences, fabric and details.

  3. 03

    Tailoring begins

Your garment is built to the agreed cut, cloth and finishing — quietly and carefully. Standard lead time 6–8 weeks; priority around 20 days when the date is tight.

  4. 04

    Final fit

Adjustments are made so the garment moves with you — shoulders, length, sleeve, drape.

Fit is not just size. It is posture, proportion, movement and comfort.

Why clients return

Trust, first. Tailoring, second.

There is no honest way to short-cut a garment built around a person. The whole point of this service is that nothing gets short-cut.

  • 01

    Personal service

You speak directly with Sahib — about cut, cloth, occasion and timing. No agency, no markup.

  • 02

    Clear appointments

A booked time, a chosen place, a measured plan. Nothing about the process is improvised.

  • 03

    Fit-focused

Posture, proportion and movement decide the cut. Not the rack.

  • 04

    One garment or many

A single wedding suit, a wardrobe refresh, or a few shirts to build on. All welcome.

Honest commitments

Four things Sahib will never compromise on.

  • Pricing agreed in writing before any work begins.

  • Measurements taken in person — never guessed from a size chart.

  • A final fit appointment is part of every garment.

  • Honest answers when something is not the right fit, fabric or occasion.

Questions

What clients usually want to know.

If something below isn't answered, message Sahib directly — he prefers a real conversation to a generic FAQ.

Ask Sahib directly
  • Do you really come to my home or office?

Yes. The whole idea is that Sahib brings the fitting experience to you — your home, office, hotel or event location. The appointment is private, unhurried and built around your schedule.

  • What garments can I order?

Suits, shirts, dresses, overcoats, linen jackets and tweed jackets. If you have something specific in mind that isn't listed, send a message and Sahib will let you know whether it fits the service.

  • How does the measurement appointment work?

Sahib takes your measurements, discusses the occasion, your fit preferences, fabric and details. You decide together on cut, lining, buttons and finishing. Most first appointments take around an hour.

  • Can you help me choose fabric and style?

Yes. Fabric, weight, cut and detailing are part of the conversation. Sahib brings options and guides you based on the occasion, the season and how you intend to wear the garment.

  • How long does tailoring take?

Standard lead time is 6–8 weeks from your fitting to the finished garment. Priority production is available when needed — around 20 days, subject to the garment and season. Confirm timing at your appointment so it matches your event date.

  • Do you travel outside Stockholm?

Yes — Sahib travels to all major cities across Sweden, Norway, Finland and Denmark. Tell him the city and the dates that work for you, and he'll plan the fitting around it.

  • Do you make wedding and event clothing?

Yes — weddings, galas, formal dinners and special occasions are a frequent part of the work. Book early so there is time for measurements, production and a final fitting.

  • Can I order more than one garment?

Of course. Many clients build a small wardrobe across one or two appointments — a suit with matching shirts, a coat with a jacket, or a complete event outfit.

  • What should I prepare before the appointment?

Wear well-fitting underclothes and, if possible, the kind of shoes you would wear with the finished garment. If you have a reference picture, a fabric idea or an inspiration shirt, bring it.

  • Are adjustments included?

A final fit is part of the process and minor adjustments are agreed at that point. Anything beyond that depends on the garment — discuss it openly with Sahib at the appointment.

  • How do I book?

Use the booking form below, or message Sahib directly on WhatsApp or Messenger. Tell him roughly what you'd like to make and when, and he'll suggest a time and place.

  • What does it cost?

Shirts from 550 SEK to 750 SEK. Suits from 3 200 SEK to 5 300 SEK, with the top of the range reserved for cashmere-blend cloth. Other garments are priced individually — ask for a quote when booking.
